Lannister Mining answers 43 common investor questions below, grouped into six topics.

These answers cover what Lannister Mining is, where to download its investor presentation, the Basin Gulch Property, gold exploration investing basics, how Lannister Mining compares with other gold companies, and how to contact investor relations.

What Lannister Mining is

What is Lannister Mining?

Lannister Mining is a mineral exploration company focused on the Basin Gulch Property in west-central Montana. It explores near-surface gold and silver oxide mineralization on a 1,107-hectare land package with more than 320 historical drill holes, and plans further exploration and resource development, including a future Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.

Where is the Basin Gulch Property?

Basin Gulch is in west-central Montana, in the historic Philipsburg Mining District. Lannister Mining says the property has year-round access from Philipsburg, MT on paved and well-maintained gravel roads, and sits about one hour from Butte, MT.

Is Lannister Mining a gold exploration company or a mining company?

Lannister Mining is a gold exploration company, not a producing miner. Its work centres on exploring and defining gold and silver mineralization at Basin Gulch. The company describes plans for expansion and confirmation drilling and a future Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate, which are exploration and resource development steps that come before any mining decision.

Does Lannister Mining explore for silver as well as gold?

Yes. Lannister Mining explores for gold and silver together, described as Au-Ag oxide mineralization. Several historical trench results on its property page report both gold and silver grades, for example 4 g/t Au and 23 g/t Ag over 146 meters. Gold is the headline metal in most historical drill highlights.

Is Lannister Mining one of the silver mining companies in Montana?

Not in the producing sense. Lannister Mining is an exploration company with gold and silver targets, so it does not mine or sell silver today. Its Basin Gulch Property lies in the Philipsburg Mining District, which the company notes led the original US silver boom in the late 1800s.

Who leads Lannister Mining?

Jim Greig is CEO and Director, with more than 25 years of experience advancing projects, and Kelvin Lee is CFO, with over 15 years of financial management experience at public companies. The board includes Mario Vetro, Victor Cantore, Max Zaretsky, Jo Anne Price and Will Randall. John Lewins, CEO of K92 Mining, is an advisor.

Where is the Lannister Mining office?

The contact address listed by Lannister Mining is 1500 - 1055 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada V6E 4N7. The project itself is in Montana. For visits or meetings, contact investor relations first at 604-687-7130 or IR@lannistermining.com.

Where can I download the Lannister Mining investor presentation?

You can download the Lannister Mining investor presentation as a PDF from the invest page on lannistermining.com, and this site links to the same file. The current edition listed there is the USA Investor Presentation dated June 2026. A Canadian Investor Presentation is also listed on that page.

What is the latest Lannister Mining investor presentation?

The latest edition listed is the June 2026 USA Investor Presentation, titled Lannister Mining Gold Silver June 2026 USA in its file name. An earlier presentation from a 2020 upload folder is still online. Use the June 2026 edition for current information and check with investor relations for anything newer.

Is there a Canadian version of the Lannister Mining investor presentation?

Yes, the Lannister Mining invest page lists a Canadian Investor Presentation alongside the USA version. If you cannot find the Canadian file, ask investor relations at IR@lannistermining.com and request the current Canadian edition.

What is in a mineral exploration investor presentation?

A mineral exploration investor presentation usually covers the project location, land package, geology, drill and sampling highlights, team, capital structure, planned work and risk statements. Treat it as a summary. Technical claims should be checked against news releases and any technical report the company files.

Does Lannister Mining have an NI 43-101 technical report?

Lannister Mining has not published a mineral resource estimate on the pages we reviewed. The company states that historical drilling and new work programs will be used in a future Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. Ask investor relations for the current status of any technical report.

What is the difference between NI 43-101 and S-K 1300?

NI 43-101 is the Canadian standard for public disclosure of mineral projects, and S-K 1300 is the US SEC rule for mining property disclosure. Both require qualified persons and set rules for reporting resources and reserves. Lannister Mining says there is a clear market premium for ounces compliant with both.

Can I download Lannister Mining logos and brand assets?

Yes. The brand page on lannistermining.com offers horizontal and hero logos in black, red, white and gold versions, a full logo package as a ZIP file, and axe and lion emblem files. Our downloads page links to the brand page and the logo package.

Are older Lannister Mining investor presentations still accurate?

Older presentations may be out of date. An earlier deck from a 2020 upload folder is still online, but the June 2026 USA edition is the newest listed. Rely on the most recent presentation and news releases, and confirm any figure with investor relations before acting on it.

The Basin Gulch project

How many drill holes have been completed at Basin Gulch?

More than 320 historical drill holes have been completed at Basin Gulch, according to Lannister Mining. The company plans expansion and confirmation drilling of historical intercepts, and future drilling will concentrate on additional mineralized target areas within the property.

How big is the Basin Gulch land package?

The Basin Gulch land package covers 1,107 hectares. It includes 11 patented claims and 53 unpatented claims, with a core of patented mining claims surrounded by unpatented claims. Lannister Mining describes multiple high priority targets near the historic resource.

What were the best historical drill results at Basin Gulch?

Historical highlights listed by Lannister Mining include 1.8 g/t Au over 162 meters from surface, 0.66 g/t Au over 326 meters from surface, 3.2 g/t Au over 72 meters from surface, 156 g/t Au over 3 meters and 25 g/t Au over 14 meters. These are historical results, not a resource.

What does near-surface oxide gold mean?

Near-surface oxide gold is gold hosted in rock that has been weathered and oxidized close to the surface. Oxide material is often simpler to process than deeper sulphide rock, and shallow mineralization can suit open pit designs. Lannister Mining cites significant implied mine design optimization flexibility at Basin Gulch.

How much of Basin Gulch is unexplored?

Lannister Mining states that two-thirds of the Basin Gulch Property is still unexplored. It also says mineralization is open at depth, along strike and untested regionally, which is why future drilling will target additional mineralized areas within the property.

How do you get to the Basin Gulch Property?

Basin Gulch has year-round access from Philipsburg, Montana on paved and well-maintained gravel roads, and it is about one hour from Butte, Montana. Site visits should be arranged through Lannister Mining investor relations.

What is the Philipsburg Mining District known for?

The Philipsburg Mining District is a historic Montana mining district that, according to Lannister Mining, led the original US silver boom in the late 1800s. Montana is known as the Treasure State, and the first gold discovery in the Montana territory occurred in 1852 at Gold Creek, near present-day Garrison.

Does Basin Gulch have a mineral resource estimate?

Not yet. Lannister Mining says historical drilling and new work programs will be used in a future Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate, and that the property has potential to host a significant one after expansion and confirmation drilling. Until then, historical results should not be treated as a resource.

Gold exploration investing basics

What does a gold exploration company do?

A gold exploration company looks for gold deposits and works to prove their size and grade. Typical work includes mapping, sampling, trenching and drilling, then compiling results into a mineral resource estimate under a reporting standard. Most explorers fund this work by raising capital rather than from mining revenue.

How does exploration for gold work, step by step?

Exploration for gold usually moves from target generation to surface sampling and trenching, then drilling to test targets, then infill and step-out drilling to define continuity, and finally a mineral resource estimate. Later studies assess economics. Basin Gulch has historical drilling and trenching, with a maiden resource estimate planned next.

What does g/t Au mean in drill results?

g/t Au means grams of gold per tonne of rock. A result such as 1.8 g/t Au over 162 meters means the sampled interval averaged 1.8 grams of gold per tonne across 162 meters of core or cuttings. Interval length is drilled length, which may differ from true width.

What is a gram-metre in gold exploration?

A gram-metre is grade multiplied by interval length, for example 1.8 g/t over 162 meters equals 291.6 gram-metres. It helps compare a long lower grade interval with a short high grade one. Our calculator on the investor materials page works this out for any intercept.

Why would US gold resources trade at a premium?

Lannister Mining states that US-based companies with NI 43-101 compliant resources are trading at a significant premium compared to their peers, and that there is a clear market premium for S-K 1300 and NI 43-101 compliant gold and silver ounces in the USA. This is the company view, not an independent study.

How risky is investing in gold exploration companies?

Investing in gold exploration companies is generally high risk. Early-stage explorers may not define an economic deposit, often need repeated financings and can be affected by metal prices and markets. Read the full risk disclosure in any presentation and speak with a licensed adviser. Nothing on this site is investment advice.

How much do mineral exploration companies spend each year?

In Canada, Natural Resources Canada reports preliminary exploration and deposit appraisal spending rose 4% in 2025 to $4.4 billion, after stable spending of $4.2 billion in 2024. Planned spending for 2026 is rising 21% to $5.3 billion, which would be a new high if realized.

What are historical drill results worth to investors?

Historical drill results show where mineralization was found and can guide new drilling, but they are not a mineral resource on their own. They typically need confirmation drilling and verification by a qualified person. Lannister Mining plans to use its 320 plus historical holes with new work in a future resource estimate.

Comparing gold explorers

What are the top gold exploration companies?

There is no single official list of top gold exploration companies, because the right pick depends on stage, jurisdiction and risk. Our comparison guide, published by Lannister Mining, ranks four gold companies by project stage using facts from their own websites. Lannister Mining is the earliest stage of the four.

How does Lannister Mining compare to other gold exploration companies?

Lannister Mining is earlier stage than the other companies in our guide. It has extensive historical drilling but no published resource yet, while Dakota Gold, Thesis Gold and K92 Mining report studies, resources or production. The comparison guide, published by Lannister Mining, sets out each on the same criteria.

What is the difference between Lannister Mining and Dakota Gold?

Both are US gold projects. Dakota Gold, listed on NYSE American as DC, is advancing Richmond Hill in the Homestake District of South Dakota toward production as soon as 2029, with a Pre-Feasibility Study targeted for Q4 2026. Lannister Mining is pre-resource at Basin Gulch in Montana.

How does Lannister Mining compare to Thesis Gold?

Thesis Gold and Silver is a development company in British Columbia that reports 4.6 Moz AuEq in measured and indicated resources at 1.21 g/t and a December 2025 Pre-Feasibility Study. Lannister Mining is at the exploration stage in Montana. Lannister CEO Jim Greig was a founder of Thesis Gold, formerly Benchmark Metals.

What is the connection between Lannister Mining and K92 Mining?

Lannister Mining says its team includes many of the same co-founders or senior executives as K92 Mining. Director Mario Vetro is a co-founder of K92, and advisor John Lewins is the CEO of K92 Mining, which operates the Kainantu Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea.

How should I compare mineral exploration companies?

Compare mineral exploration companies on the same criteria: project stage, jurisdiction, size of land package, quality and amount of drilling, resource status, published studies, team track record and access. Use primary sources such as company news releases and technical reports. Our rating guide offers a simple scorecard.

Who should choose a later-stage gold company instead of an explorer?

Readers who want defined resources, published economic studies or current production may prefer later-stage companies such as a developer or producer. Early-stage explorers like Lannister Mining suit readers who want exposure to the step from historical drilling to a first resource and who accept higher uncertainty.
